The Great Outdoors.

July 10, 2009

In an effort to not wait too long, I’m just going to post some of the finer shots of our trip to Yellowstone and Grand Teton. I’m not going to expound much.First off, the landscapes. Remember that you should be able to click any one of these pictures to make them blow up to the size of your screen.

This is Cascade Canyon, one of the hikes we went on.

This is Lamar Valley, which is hands down my favorite place in Yellowstone. It is also the favorite picture of the one’s I took.

One of the many majestic mountains in between Grand Teton and Yellowstone:

Early morning light hitting the Grand Tetons with mist in the river:

Now for the wildlife:

Elk:

Moose:

Mama bison and baby:

Baby black bear (there were actually two):

Different kind of “wildlife”:

There were also wolves, but they were too far away to get a good shot of them. We saw many grizzlies, and lots of other black bear. We even saw a black and and a grizzly fighting!

And finally some shots of us.

This is on our rafting trip:

And this is on my last day there. This was built by Mormon settlers there around 1910. I can’t even imagine what their life must have been like.
