Ella

January 10, 2012

My friend Chul* and her daughter were in Florida for a while, so we were able to hang out a couple of times. Saturday they came over to the new apartment for some play time. I picked her up and we took the A1A down to the house. I love driving the A1A, because it runs along the beach. It’s so relaxing, even if it takes forever to get from Point A to B. The houses are amazing, as well, so at the points that you can’t see the beach there is plenty to look at.

Ella, the baby, is an absolute doll.  I had to get the camera out and get some shots while she was running around the apartment. First of all, babies move fast! Secondly, I was shooting in ISO 3200 and in a few of them did not have enough light, so the shots are way too grainy. I should have used the flash for front lighting most of them. Oh well. I’m learning.

But what a model Ella was! Here – I’ll let the photos speak for themselves.

The Pioneer Woman’s Bring on the Eyes action is an amazing action. It transforms photos. It’s funny, because in the first photo the reflection of the chair that she is balancing herself with is perfectly reflected in her eyes and I had to mute that a bit after using the action. It was distracting.

Ella is a very happy baby and a lovely model. Plus, it was wonderful to hang out with my friend again.
